Sarah Al-Qatou is a producer & creative executive with an array of experiences championing crowd-pleasing and culturally-resonate narratives that elevate diverse perspectives. In 2025, she served as the Creative Executive at Rideback RISE, where she spearheaded development of the slate of film & TV projects within RISE's filmmaker fellowship program. Previously, she was a Creative Executive at Issa Rae’s banner, HOORAE – where she produced across film, TV, and unscripted, notably working on Rap Sh!t S2 and Seen & Heard. In addition, she worked with filmmaker Lulu Wang under her banner Local Time, supporting development & production of Wang’s stirring limited series, Expats. She has also worked at film financier Big Beach & in film acquisitions at Focus Features. Sarah produced the action short film, TRIGGERMAN by Tyler Holmes (Foundation), which was released by Omeleto, and played at Hollyshorts, LA Film Festival, Catalina Film Festival, and San Francisco Black Film Festival, to name a few. A UCLA grad, Sarah firmly believes in the mantra ‘we rise together.’ She has supported programs such as: The Academy's Film Accelerator, Palm Springs Shortfest, Sundance & WIF Financing Intensive, and Reel Champions. She is a former Film Independent Project Involve Fellow, and a 2025 WIF Business Fellow.
