BIO
Sarah Al-Qatou is a poet, curator, and producer. A graduate of UCLA’s creative writing program, her work examines the inner world, centering sublime imagery and exploring the ethos of joy as resistance. She is passionate about the intersection of travel, design, and storytelling. Currently, she is independently developing a dynamic slate of narrative projects under her banner WELCOME TO THE SHOW, while being the 2026 Curator in Residence with Los Angeles Design Week/end (LADW).
In 2025, she served as Creative Executive at Rideback RISE, overseeing creative development of their fellowship projects. Previously, she was Creative Executive at Issa Rae’s Hoorae – where she produced across film, TV, and unscripted, notably working on RAP SH!T S2 (HBOMax) and SEEN & HEARD (HBO Docs). She has also worked with filmmaker Lulu Wang, supporting development & production of EXPATS (Amazon Studios), as well as at film financier Big Beach & Focus Features. Sarah produced the action-short film TRIGGERMAN directed by Tyler Holmes, released by Omeleto. She has been recognized as a Film Independent Project Involve Producer Fellow, and Women in Film Business Fellow.
